Since there is no single source of data necessary to track the COVID-19 vaccine development pipeline, we work to collate and curate clinical trial and approval/authorization data from multiple, diverse sources, including some of those listed below.
We strive for accurate and up-to-date information. Have we missed something? Let us know by contacting us.
National and Regional Clinical Trial Registries
We aggregate and extract publicly available clinical trial data by reviewing clinical trial registries from multiple countries around the world, including trial registries from the US (ClinicalTrials.gov), China (Chinese Clinical Trial Register) and the European Union (EU Clinical Trials Register)
WHO COVID-19 Vaccine Tracker and Landscape
We also extract data from the World Health Organization (WHO) landscape of COVID-19 vaccines currently in development.
Regulatory Authorities
We monitor COVID-19 vaccine approvals/authorizations via announcements by regulatory authorities around the world and by accessing publicly available announcements, press releases, and news reports.
Our World In Data
We extract publicly available vaccination rates from Our World In Data.
